Santa Monica Airport is a general aviation airport largely in Santa Monica, California, United States, in the Greater Los Angeles area. It is one of the United States' oldest airports, and has been one of the world's foremost general aviation airports.
The airport is about 2 miles from the Pacific Ocean and 6 miles north of Los Angeles International Airport. The FAA's National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2009–2013 categorized it as a reliever airport. The airport is scheduled to close at the end of 2028. Santa Monica Airport covers a total of 215 acres of land.
