Sao Domingos is a 12th-century church which used to host royal weddings and that features a Baroque facade. Being home to the Inquisition, it played an important part in the city's history. The building was severely damaged by two earthquakes and later a fire and despite restorations, signs of the fire are still visible. Worth visiting for its altar and sacristy.
Daily 7:30 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Admission to the church is free.
