Shibuya Crossing

Local nameShibuya Crossing
LocationShibuya, Japan

While it is understandably hard to prove such a claim, rumour has it, that this is the busiest crossing in the world.

With hundreds of people passing through at any given moment, it is certainly bustling with activity. Movie fans may remember it from the 2003 film Lost in Translation, or the 2006 instalment in the Fast and the Furious film series: The Tokyo Drift.

The crossing is surrounded by shops and restaurants. One of the best places to observe all the buzz is the second-floor Starbucks café at the corner of the square. However, as many people have heard of that already, do not take finding a seat here for granted.
