Tamatsukuri Inari Shrine

Local name玉造稲荷神社
LocationChūō-ku, Osaka, Japan

Supposedly dating back to the 12th century, this charming shrine is dedicated to the Shinto god Inari. The shrine was, however, destroyed on numerous occasions, by fires and battles, and the current one was rebuilt after the WWII. The complex also houses a gem museum.

The shrine is located only a short walk from Morinomiya and Tamatsukuri subway stations.
