Tirta Gangga Water Palace

Local nameTaman Tirtagangga
LocationTirta Gangga, Indonesia

The name literally translates as 'Waters from Ganga'. This palace is the absolutely best-preserved water complex in Bali and without much exaggeration, it's a heaven on Earth.

The breathtaking complex was constructed during the 1940s but two decades later it was heavily damaged by a volcano eruption. Since then it was beautifully restored and nowadays, you can fully enjoy the magnificence of it.
