Tuileries Garden

Local nameJardin des Tuileries
Location1st arrondissement of Paris, France

A large and beautiful park with many sculptures and historical buildings to discover. There are also some restaurants in the area, so you can give some traditional French dishes a try.

Named after tile factories, which used to stand here until the 16th century, the park is a popular strolling and relaxing place both for tourists and locals. A number of events are organized here throughout the year, like an annual market and festival dedicated to gardening, which takes place at the start of every June.

When visiting, keep in mind that the main parts of the area can get quite crowded during summer months.
