The Wurstelprater is a historic amusement park with roots dating back to the 18th century, established in its current form in 1895. It operates with a model where entry to the park grounds is free, while individual fees are charged for each of the more than 250 attractions.
Available attractions range from traditional carousels to modern roller coasters. Notable features include the Wiener Riesenrad (Giant Ferris Wheel), log flumes, ghost trains, haunted houses, and game arcades. The atmosphere combines historical Viennese charm with contemporary adventure rides.
An interactive map known as the Praterplan provides detailed navigation and filtering for the various sections of the park. The grounds are open to the public with attractions suitable for all age groups, offering a mix of thrill rides and family-oriented entertainment.
