Cascadas y acantilados en el Alto Tauern
Majestic Waterfalls and Cliffs
The Hohe Tauern National Park contains some of Central Europe’s most significant water features, including the 380-meter Krimml Waterfalls, the highest in Austria. This selection features the landmark Gasteiner Wasserfall in Bad Gastein, the glacial Umbalfälle in the Isel Valley, and the narrow Raggaschlucht gorge. Geologically distinct sites like the Danielsberg, inhabited since the Stone Age, offer vertical cliffs for climbing, while various alpine falls like the Fallbach and Gössnitzfall showcase the region's high-altitude drainage systems.
Waterfall
A narrow, 200-meter deep gorge featuring a high waterfall at its end, accessible via a series of wooden walkways and stairs.
Fallbach
One of Carinthia's highest waterfalls, dropping approximately 200 meters from the Maltatal valley hanging wall.
