Jukkasjärvi district serves as a primary gateway to the Swedish Arctic, centered around the Torne River and the world’s first Ice Hotel, which is reconstructed each winter from natural ice blocks. The region encompasses Abisko National Park, known for its clear skies and the Aurora Sky Station, alongside Sweden’s highest peak, Kebnekaise.
