Kamnik-Savinja Alps Peaks

The Kamnik-Savinja Alps in northern Slovenia are defined by dramatic limestone peaks, glacial valleys like Logarska dolina, and the easternmost glacier in the Alps at Skuta. This range includes Grintovec, the highest summit at 2,558 meters, and the distinctive pyramid-shaped Ojstrica. The area features an extensive network of high-mountain huts and technical climbing routes, providing access to the Central Grintovci group and the eastern Savinja peaks near the Austrian border.
