Moremi Game Reserve Essentials

Moremi Game Reserve covers nearly one-third of the Okavango Delta, encompassing Chief’s Island and the Mopane Tongue. This sanctuary is defined by diverse ecosystems ranging from permanent wetlands to dry mopane forests. It is a stronghold for African wild dogs and home to the Big Five. Key navigational features include the historic log bridges—First, Third, and Fourth—which connect the Xakanaxa and Third Bridge regions. Visitors can explore via traditional mokoro excursions, motorized boat trips from the Third Bridge station, or 4x4 game drives through the floodplains.

Little Mombo Rutanda
