Bygland kyrkje

A white wooden cruciform church built in 1838, designed by architect Hans Linstow and constructed by Anders Thorsen Syrtveit.

Valle kyrkje

Timber cruciform church dating from 1844. The structure features a traditional interior and is a central landmark in the village of Valle.

Bykle gamle kyrkje

Built around 1620, this is the oldest church in Setesdal. The interior is famous for its extensive 18th-century rosemaling (decorative folk painting) covering the walls and ceiling.

Sandnes kyrkje

An octagonal timber church completed in 1844. It was originally built at another site before being moved to its current location in 1849.

Åseral kyrkje

A wooden cruciform church built in 1822, standing on a site used for worship since the Middle Ages.

Årdal kyrkje

Octagonal wooden church completed in 1828. It is one of the region's early examples of the octagonal architectural style.

Hylestad kyrkje

A timber church from 1838. It is located near the site of the former Hylestad Stave Church, famous for its Viking-inspired carved portals.

Rygnestadtunet

An authentic farmstead museum featuring buildings from the 16th century. The site includes a unique three-story storehouse known as the Rygnestad loft.

Evje kyrkje

A large wooden long church built in 1891, designed by architect J.W. Nordan to accommodate approximately 450 people.

Tveitetunet

A historic farm museum and former sheriff's residence. The site preserves traditional Setesdal architecture and 18th-century living quarters.
