This museum is all about the history of the Palatine hill. Worth a visit for every history geek.
Inside, you will find interesting historical artefacts unearthed on some of the archaeological digs that took place here. Highlights include a number of imperial portraits, including a picture of the famous mad emperor Nero.
You will also learn about the development of the human settlements on the hill on small models.
