Annapurna Peaks and Lakes
The Annapurna massif in north-central Nepal contains some of the world's highest summits and most remote glacial lakes. This selection features Annapurna I, the first 8,000-meter peak ever summited, alongside the iconic fishtail spire of Machapuchare. It includes Tilicho Lake, situated at 4,919 meters, and Gangapurna Lake, formed by receding glaciers near Manang.
