Brač Unmissables

Brač is home to Vidova gora, the highest peak of the Adriatic islands, offering panoramic views over the surrounding archipelago. The island is famous for Zlatni rat, a shifting pebble beach near Bol, and its long history of olive oil production, preserved in the village of Škrip. Cultural landmarks include the Dragon’s Cave with its 15th-century reliefs. Coastal hubs like Supetar, Milna, and Bol serve as the primary maritime gateways, connecting the island to Split and Hvar.

Museum of Olive Oil

Located in Škrip, the island's oldest settlement, this museum is housed in an 1864 oil mill. It displays traditional stone presses and equipment used for processing olives, documenting the local history of oil production.

Port of Bol

A maritime hub on the southern coast providing catamaran connections to Split, Hvar, and Korčula. The harbor area serves as the primary arrival point for visitors to the nearby Zlatni rat beach.

Port of Milna

Situated in a protected bay on the western coast, this port serves as a marina and ferry stop. It connects the island to Split and Hvar via high-speed catamaran lines.

Supetar

The island's main ferry port and administrative center, providing the primary car ferry link to Split. The waterfront features a 19th-century church and the Neo-Byzantine Petrinović mausoleum.
