Adrenaline Adventures

Grindelwald’s alpine terrain hosts high-speed attractions and aerial sports centered around the First and Pfingstegg areas. The First mountain station serves as a hub for zip lines reaching speeds of 84 km/h and paragliding launches. In the valley, dedicated landing fields like Bodmi and Grund accommodate free-flying enthusiasts. The Pfingstegg station features a 725-meter summer toboggan run with a 58-meter vertical descent. For lower-impact activity, the Aspi area provides a 9-hole golf course situated directly beneath the Eiger North Face.

A

First Flieger

An 800-meter zip line connecting First to Schreckfeld. Riders reach speeds up to 84 kilometers per hour while suspended in a seated harness 50 meters above the alpine meadows.

Pfingstegg

Aerial cableway station serving as the starting point for the Fly-Line and summer toboggan run. It serves as a primary launch site for paragliders and offers views across the Grindelwald valley.

Bodmi

A designated paragliding landing field situated on a gentle slope near the village center. During winter, the area functions as a beginner-friendly ski zone and snow sports school.

Landeplatz Grund

The primary paragliding landing area located on the valley floor. It is positioned adjacent to the Grindelwald Grund railway station, providing access to the Eiger Express and Männlichen cable cars.

First

Mountain summit station at 2,168 meters. It serves as the takeoff point for paragliders and the starting terminal for the First Flieger and First Glider zip lines.

Schreckfeld

Intermediate cable car station at 1,955 meters. This location serves as the arrival point for the First Flieger zip line and the departure point for the First Glider.

Sommerrodelbahn

A 725-meter-long tin toboggan run located at the Pfingstegg mountain station. The track descends 58 vertical meters through a series of curves and is equipped with a lift system.

Golf Grindelwald Aspi

A 9-hole golf course located at the base of the Wetterhorn and Eiger North Face. The facility includes a driving range and operates a "pay and play" system for non-members.
