Balearic Island Beaches

The Balearic archipelago features diverse coastal landscapes across Majorca, Menorca, Ibiza, and Formentera. Menorca’s southern coast is defined by pine-fringed limestone coves with turquoise waters, while Majorca offers expansive sandy stretches like the nine-kilometer Alcúdia Beach and the protected dunes of Es Trenc. Formentera’s shores are characterized by shallow, clear waters filtered by endemic Posidonia oceanica seagrass. These locations range from remote, hike-in rocky inlets to developed resorts with established water sports facilities.
