Birgu, the oldest of the Three Cities, served as the headquarters for the Order of Saint John during the Great Siege of 1565. This selection features the Inquisitor’s Palace, one of the few surviving examples of its kind in Europe, and the Malta Maritime Museum, housed in a former 19th-century naval bakery.
