Bouillante Essentials

Bouillante serves as Guadeloupe’s ecotourism hub, centered around the Réserve Cousteau’s protected coral reefs and the volcanic black sands of Plage de Malendure. The region is defined by its geothermal activity, featuring natural thermal springs like the Bains Chauds de Thomas. Inland, the landscape rises into lush rainforests hosting the Guadeloupe Zoo and historical sites like Habitation La Lise, which preserves the remnants of the island's colonial sugar-producing past.
