Cuyahoga Valley National Park Essentials

Cuyahoga Valley National Park preserves the rural landscape along the Cuyahoga River between Cleveland and Akron. The park features the 19th-century Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, historic lock structures, and the 65-foot Brandywine Falls. Visitors can explore the valley via the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad or visit the Boston Store Visitor Center to learn about the area's canal-era history. The landscape includes deep gorges, lush forests, and the Blossom Music Center, the summer home of the Cleveland Orchestra.
