Dunedin’s topography is shaped by its volcanic history and rugged coastline. This collection features the city’s most prominent heights, from the 676-meter summit of Mount Cargill to the tussock-covered ridges of the Silver Peaks and Flagstaff. On the Otago Peninsula, Sandymount and Signal Hill provide expansive views of the Pacific Ocean and Otago Harbour. The list also includes the Royal Albatross Centre at Taiaroa Head and Baldwin Street, recognized as the world's steepest residential road.
