Regional Heritage Sites

Formentera’s heritage spans from the Bronze Age to the 18th century. This collection features the island's defensive watchtowers built to guard against pirate raids, prehistoric megalithic tombs like Ca na Costa, and fortified churches such as Sant Francesc Xavier. These sites offer insight into the island's early settlements at Cap de Barbaria and its later Roman and medieval history through architectural landmarks and archaeological remains.
