Museums and Art Galleries

This collection spans Germany’s complex history and artistic evolution. It features Berlin’s Museum Island, home to the Neoclassical Altes Museum and the Egyptian collections of the Neues Museum. Beyond the capital, the list includes Cologne’s Museum Ludwig, housing extensive modern art and Picasso works, and the Medieval Crime and Justice Museum in Rothenburg. Significant historical sites are also included, such as the DDR Museum’s interactive exhibits on East German life and the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site.
