Karpacz Essentials

Karpacz is a premier mountain resort centered around the Karkonosze National Park. It features the 12th-century Vang Stave Church, famously relocated from Norway in 1842, and the 1,603-meter Śnieżka peak, home to a futuristic disc-shaped meteorological observatory. Visitors can explore glacial landscapes at Mały Staw, see the granite Słonecznik rock formation, or visit the Toy Museum in a repurposed railway station. The town also offers unique sites like the masonry Łomnica Dam and a natural gravity anomaly.
