Kaş Essentials

Kaş serves as a gateway to the ancient Lycian Civilization and the dramatic landscapes of the Teke Peninsula. The Kaş coastline offers a diverse range of swimming spots, from the 18-kilometer sandy expanse of Patara, a protected nesting site for loggerhead turtles, to the pebble coves of the Çukurbağ Peninsula. Kaputaş Beach sits at the base of a dramatic canyon, while sites like Akçagerme hold Blue Flag status for water quality. Many locations, such as Büyük Çakıl, are characterized by cold underwater springs and clear, deep waters suitable for snorkeling along the Lycian Way.
