North Lebanon encompasses diverse landmarks ranging from the UNESCO-listed Cedars of God and the monastic retreats of the Qadisha Valley to the coastal history of Batroun. The region features the 12th-century Citadel of Tripoli and the modernistic Rachid Karami International Fair, designed by Oscar Niemeyer. Natural highlights include the Baatara gorge waterfall and some of the world's oldest olive trees in Bchaaleh. Cedars of God

Ancient cedar forest and nature reserve featuring trees that are over three thousand years old. This UNESCO World Heritage site represents one of the final remnants of the vast forests that once covered the mountain range.
