Cedars of God

Ancient cedar forest and nature reserve featuring trees that are over three thousand years old. This UNESCO World Heritage site represents one of the final remnants of the vast forests that once covered the mountain range.

Designed by Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer in the 1960s, this 70-hectare modernist complex in Tripoli features fifteen distinct structures, including a grand canopy and an experimental theater. It is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site in Danger.

Sisters Olive Trees of Noah
