Mu Cang Chai Essentials

Mu Cang Chai features steep mountain slopes carved into intricate rice terraces by the H’mong people. This selection includes the Khau Pha Pass paragliding launch site, one of Vietnam's highest points for aerial views, and the dense Na Hang Tua Chu bamboo forest. Visitors can explore the Shoe Tip terrace formations, view the valley from dedicated observation towers, and sample Bánh Cốm, a traditional green rice cake specific to the Tú Lệ valley region.

Parachute site

Located at the summit of Khau Pha Pass, this site serves as the primary launch point for the annual paragliding festival. It offers aerial views of the Cao Pha Valley and the surrounding terraced mountainsides.

Bamboo forest
