Moravske Toplice Essentials

Moravske Toplice is defined by its unique "black" thermal mineral water at the Terme 3000 complex and its rich architectural heritage. The region features Jože Plečnik’s modernist "White Dove" church in Bogojina and the 13th-century Romanesque rotunda in Selo. Terme 3000

Wellness resort famous for its unique "black" thermal mineral water, which emerges from a depth of 1,175 meters at 72°C. The complex features multiple indoor and outdoor pools, saunas, and health treatments focused on rheumatic and respiratory conditions.

Church of the Ascension of Christ

Known as the "White Dove of Prekmurje," this church was redesigned by architect Jože Plečnik in the 1920s. It features a distinctive flat wooden ceiling decorated with local pottery and a striking cylindrical bell tower.

A 13th-century Romanesque circular chapel featuring two layers of frescoes. The interior contains 14th-century Gothic paintings and a 15th-century depiction of the Passion of Christ.

A late 14th-century Gothic church in Martjanci. It is notable for its frescoes and a self-portrait by the medieval artist Johannes Aquila, who decorated the sanctuary in 1392.
