Nahuel Huapi National Park's landscape is defined by these granite massifs and glacial passes. The list features Cerro Catedral, home to the largest ski resort in the southern hemisphere, and Cerro López, which houses a major mountain refuge. It includes the Pérez Rosales international pass, a key transit point between Argentina and Chile, and several summits like Cerro Capilla and Belvedere that overlook the fjord-like branches of the Lake District.

Cerro López

Situated at 2,187 meters, this peak features the Refugio López mountain hut. It is a primary destination for trekking and backcountry skiing, offering views of the Llao Llao Peninsula and Lake Nahuel Huapi.

Paso Pérez Rosales

An international mountain pass at an altitude of 1,020 meters. It serves as the border crossing between Argentina and Chile, forming part of the historic Cruce Andino transit route.

Cerro Capilla

Located near the Llao Llao area, this 1,967-meter peak stands between the Tristeza and Blest branches of Lake Nahuel Huapi, providing a vantage point over the park's glacial lake system.

Cerro Belvedere

A summit near Villa La Angostura reaching 1,992 meters. It features a viewpoint overlooking the Correntoso and Nahuel Huapi lakes, and the Inacayal waterfall on its lower slopes.

Pico Turista

The highest accessible point of the Cerro López massif for hikers. It offers panoramic views of the Andes and the surrounding lake system at approximately 2,050 meters above sea level.

Cerro Catedral Sur

The southern section of the Catedral massif, characterized by jagged granite spires. Geographically distinct from the northern ski slopes, it is primarily used for technical rock climbing and alpine trekking.
