Naples offers a diverse range of cultural venues, from the 18th-century Teatro di San Carlo, the oldest continuously active opera house in Europe, to the private 19th-century Teatro Bellini. Modern entertainment is centered at the Palapartenope and the RAI’s Auditorium Domenico Scarlatti. For seaside nightlife, Arenile di Bagnoli in the former industrial district hosts international concerts and DJ sets directly on the beach.
