Northeast Greenland National Park, the world’s largest national park, encompasses the massive Greenland Ice Sheet and some of the Arctic’s most significant geological features. This selection includes the 79 N Glacier (Nioghalvfjerdsbrae) and Zachariae Isstrom, two of the island's most active ice streams. The list also highlights the Zackenberg Ecological Research Operations, the remote Geologfjord, and the easternmost point of the North American continent. These landmarks represent the northernmost extremes of Earth, characterized by deep fjords, calving glaciers, and high-altitude peaks like Petermann Bjerg.
