Roça Agostinho Neto ( Roça de Cinco mil)

Formerly Roça Rio do Ouro, this is one of the nation's largest colonial cocoa plantations. It is noted for its grand neoclassical hospital building and the remains of the railway infrastructure once used for transporting crops.

A high-altitude waterfall located in the lush mountains near Monte Café. The falls drop down a vertical rock face and are easily accessible from the roadside in the island's interior.
