Sharjah's religious landscape is defined by grand Ottoman and traditional Arabic architectural styles. This collection includes the Sharjah Mosque, the emirate's largest place of worship, and the King Faisal Mosque, a landmark gift from Saudi Arabia opened in 1987. These sites showcase intricate tile work, towering minarets, and vast prayer halls, ranging from historic waterfront structures in Al Khan to modern landmarks in the city center.

King Faisal Mosque

Opened in 1987, this was once the largest mosque in the UAE. It features a unique architectural design with two 70-meter minarets and can accommodate over 16,000 worshippers.

Place of Worship

A mosque located within the Al Rafisah Dam rest area in Khorfakkan, serving visitors to the mountain reservoir and surrounding hiking trails.

Sharjah Mosque

The largest mosque in Sharjah, inaugurated in 2019. It follows the Ottoman architectural style with 81 domes, two 75-meter minarets, and a total capacity for 25,000 people.
