B Stairway to Nothingness
The bridge features a construction which is also called "stairway to nothingness". Breathtaking views are guaranteed.
C Skywalk
Located on the Hunerkogel rock face at 2,700 meters, this balcony offers a 360-degree panorama of the Alps. The glass-bottomed section provides a direct view of the 250-meter vertical drop below.
D Hoher Dachstein
Hoher Dachstein is a strongly karstic mountain in central Austria and the second-highest mountain in the Northern Limestone Alps.
E Sonnschienhütte
A mountain refuge owned by the Austrian Alpine Club, situated on the western edge of the Hochschwab massif. It serves as a central hub for several long-distance hiking trails and provides overnight accommodation.
F Oberst Klinke Hütte
Managed by the Admont-Gesäuse section of the Austrian Alpine Club, this hut is located at the foot of the Admonter Kalbling. It is accessible by car via a toll road during the summer months.
G Winterleitenhütte
Situated at 1,782 meters in the Seetal Alps, this mountain inn sits next to the Kleiner Winterleitensee lake. It serves traditional Styrian cuisine and offers a base for climbing the Zirbitzkogel.
H Schiestlhaus
Located just below the Hochschwab summit at 2,154 meters, this is the highest refuge in the Hochschwab group. It is notable for being the first high-alpine passive house, utilizing sustainable energy and water systems.
I Kalvarienberg
A religious site and viewpoint on a hill in the Göß district of Leoben. It features a series of Baroque stations of the cross leading to a chapel with views over the Mur valley.
J Buchsteinhaus
A mountain refuge in the Gesäuse National Park, positioned on the southern slopes of the Großer Buchstein. It is a key rest stop for hikers ascending the peak via various climbing routes.
K Hesshütte
Located at the Ennstaler Almboden between the peaks of Hochtor and Hochzinödl. This traditional Alpine Club hut is a central junction for trails throughout the Gesäuse mountains.
L Reichensteinhütte
Perched just below the summit of the Eisenerzer Reichenstein at 2,136 meters. The hut offers panoramic views of the surrounding iron-ore mining region and the Gesäuse peaks.
