Castles and Heritage

This collection features significant architectural landmarks across the Tyrolean landscape, ranging from the Renaissance Castle of Ambras in Innsbruck to King Ludwig II’s mountain villa on Schachen. It includes the medieval spur castle of Schloss Friedberg and the defensive ruins of Festung Pass Strub, which once guarded the mountain pass between Lofer and Waidring. The selection is completed by the late Baroque Kapelle Mariahilf, a protected religious heritage site in Rinderschinken.
