Antiparos Unmissables

Antiparos features a 15th-century Venetian castle at its center and the deep Cave of Antiparos, famous for its stalactites and historical inscriptions dating back centuries. The island's coastline includes the sandy stretches of Soros and Livadia, along with the Psaraliki beaches near Chora. In the southwest, the settlement of Agios Georgios provides access to the archaeological site of Tsimenteri and boat transfers to the ancient ruins on the neighboring island of Despotiko.

Spilio Agiou Ioannou

A deep cave featuring stalactites and stalagmites, with the 18th-century Chapel of Agios Ioannis at its entrance. It contains historic inscriptions from notable visitors, including King Otto of Greece and the Marquis de Nointel.

Castle of Antiparos

A 15th-century Venetian fortified settlement built as a square of houses around a central tower. The single remaining entrance is located next to the main square of Chora.

Soros

Livadia

Located adjacent to First Psaraliki, this stretch offers shallow conditions and natural shade, accessible via a short coastal path from the main town.

Marina Agiou Georgiou Antiparou

Small harbor in the settlement of Agios Georgios, serving as the primary departure point for boat excursions to the uninhabited island of Despotiko.

Archaiologikos Choros Tsimenteri

An archaeological site located on a small islet between Antiparos and Despotiko, containing remains of ancient structures linked to the neighboring sanctuary of Apollo.
