Bamberg Heritage

Bamberg's UNESCO-listed Old Town showcases a unique blend of medieval and baroque architecture across three historic districts. Old Town Hall

Altenburg

Hilltop castle dating back to 1109, located on Bamberg's highest hill. It served as a residence for the city's bishops and features a 33-meter-high keep and a terrace with panoramic views of the Regnitz valley.

St. Michael's Monastery

Schloss Geyerswörth

Former episcopal residence built in the 14th century and redesigned in Renaissance style around 1585. The palace features a distinctive tower and was the seat of the prince-bishops before the construction of the New Residence.

Diözesanmuseum Bamberg

Natural History Museum
