This collection highlights the diverse spiritual heritage of the Iron Gates Natural Park along the Danube. It includes the 14th-century Vodița Monastery, the oldest in Wallachia, and the reconstructed Mraconia Monastery, which stands near the site of an earlier church submerged by the river's rising waters. The list features Serbian Orthodox churches, Roman Catholic sites serving local ethnic communities, and the Saint Anne Monastery, built on a ridge overlooking Orșova.
