Košice’s cultural scene centers on the Neo-Baroque State Theatre and the East Slovak Gallery, the nation's first regional art museum. The city hosts specialized venues like the Romathan theatre, the only professional Roma ensemble in Slovakia, and the Thália theatre, which serves the Hungarian minority.
