Michoacán’s heritage spans from the pre-Hispanic Purépecha Empire to the Mexican War of Independence. This collection features the circular yácatas pyramids of Tzintzuntzan and Ihuatzio alongside Morelia’s colonial architecture, including the 17th-century Clavijero Cultural Center and the birthplace of revolutionary leader José María Morelos.
