Historic Bridges

Prague’s architectural evolution is captured in its bridges spanning the Vltava River. This selection highlights the 14th-century Gothic Charles Bridge with its thirty Baroque statues and the Romanesque-Renaissance Lesser Town Bridge Tower. Modernist influences are visible in the 1914 Mánes Bridge and the Art Nouveau-inspired Bridge of Legions.
