Gur-e Amir (Amir Temur Mausoleum)

This 15th-century architectural masterpiece serves as the final resting place of the conqueror Amir Timur, his sons, and his grandson Ulugh Beg. It is distinguished by its azure fluted dome and interior decorated with gold leaf, jade, and onyx.

Founded in 1868 by D.L. Filatov, this is Uzbekistan's oldest winery. The museum documents the history of regional viticulture and includes a tasting room for Samarkand wines, cognacs, and liqueurs produced on-site.
