Bangkok Yai Essentials

Bangkok Yai preserves the historic soul of Thonburi through its riverside landmarks and canal-side communities. The district features the iconic porcelain-encrusted prangs of Wat Arun and the 18th-century Wang Derm Palace, the former residence of King Taksin. Along Khlong Bang Luang, traditional wooden stilt houses host an artist community and local market.
