Museums in Birgu

Birgu, also known as Vittoriosa, preserves centuries of history through its diverse cultural sites. Fort Saint Angelo serves as a medieval bastion at the Grand Harbour's center, while the Inquisitor’s Palace offers a rare look at religious history within its historic chambers. The Malta Maritime Museum occupies a former 1840s Royal Naval Bakery, and the Malta at War Museum documents the city's critical role during World War II. Contemporary local and international works are showcased at Art by the Seaside Art Gallery.
