The Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area offers diverse camping options along the Historic Columbia River Highway and the riverbanks. From the volcanic monolith of Beacon Rock to the waterfall-dense Eagle Creek area, these sites provide access to world-class hiking trails, windsurfing spots, and historic landmarks. A

Eagle Creek Overlook Group Campground

Large group-only site overlooking the Columbia River and Bonneville Dam. Features a historic stone pavilion built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s.

Beacon Rock State Park Campground

Situated near the 848-foot basalt volcanic plug. Provides access to a mile-long switchback trail to the summit and technical rock climbing faces.

Woodard Creek Campground

Located within Beacon Rock State Park, offering primitive sites on the north side of State Route 14.

Ainsworth Campground
