Historic & Archaeological Sites

Gijón’s historical landscape spans from the Neolithic era to modern industrial heritage. This collection features the Iron Age hillfort of Campa de Torres and the 4th-century Roman Villa of Veranes, known for its well-preserved mosaics. The monumental Laboral City of Culture represents 20th-century architectural ambition, while the Asturias Railway Museum documents the region’s industrial past.
