Ukonkivi

Ukonkivi,, is located on the island of Ukonsaari in lake Inari, Finnish Lapland. The Inari Sami name for the island is Äijih.

Built in 1760, this wooden Lutheran church is one of the oldest buildings in northern Lapland. It stands in the former winter village of Pielpajärvi and is accessible via a 5-kilometer hiking trail from Inari.
