Langanes Essentials
Langanes is a 40-kilometer-long peninsula in northeast Iceland characterized by steep sea cliffs and a history of remote settlement. This list features the Fontur lighthouse at the peninsula's tip, the abandoned early 20th-century fishing village of Skálar, and the 19th-century stone parsonage at Sauðanes. Langanes
Langanes is a peninsula in northeast Iceland. The name literally means "long peninsula".
Langanes

A 266-meter mountain that served as the site for a NATO radar station during the Cold War from 1954 to 1970.
