Holy Island Essentials

Holy Island showcases a dense concentration of maritime and prehistoric landmarks off the coast of Anglesey. This selection features the iconic South Stack Lighthouse and the 1.7-mile Holyhead Breakwater, the longest in the UK. Historical sites range from the Iron Age Caer y Twr hillfort and Cytiau'r Gwyddelod hut circles to the medieval St Cybi’s Church, built within the walls of a Roman fort. South Stack Lighthouse Viewpoint

A pair of 3-meter-tall quartz-rich monoliths dating from the Bronze Age. These stones stand approximately 3.3 meters apart and are rare surviving examples of prehistoric ritual markers in the area.
